She is survived by: her husband James M. Spoon; her children, Shane Hood, Shawnya Miller (Chris), Shannon Hood (Conswello) and Shari Lopez; and her brothers, Robert Handley (Sandy) and Michael Handley (Becky). She is also survived by 8 grandkids.
