She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Eugene Prevatt (Strickland) and John Bevil Prevatt; her son William Alfred Bailey, Jr.; and her siblings, Wilbert Harold Prevatt, Melba Louise Matheny and Mazie Prevatt Beasley.
She is survived by: her brother Rev. Erle Prevatt; her son Mark Steven Murley; and her grandsons, Joshua and William. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
