With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Joseph Montgomery of Gainesville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud and Elizabeth; his siblings, Paula, Mary Ann and Carl; and his nephew Greg.

He is survived by: his daughter Merrill (Jason); his grandchildren, Aurora and Owen; his close friend Michelle; his brothers, Philip, Dennis, Rick and Royce; his great-niece Haylee; and also, Madhava and Brooke Lintner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Bird House Hospice of Johnson County, Iowa, in honor of the compassionate care Joe received in his final days.
