It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Boles (Gainesville, Florida), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Roy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Roy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Boles and Willie Kate Boles; and his brother Ronnie Boles. He is survived by: his daughters, Chris Hagin and Kim Humphries (Mark); the mother of his children Judy Boles; his siblings, Curtis Boles, Brenda Evans (Fred) and Linda Kent; and his grandchildren, Tyler Hagin (Rachel), Justin Hagin, Heston Humphries (Isabella) and McKenna Humphries.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at 5701 NW 34th Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32653.
