He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred O. Peterson and Muriel Joy Peterson; his wife Norma Jean; his sister Janet Woodhouse; and his son Robert Alan Peterson (Felicia).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Peterson Anderson (Dale) and Richard K. Peterson (Deborah); his brother David Peterson; his grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson-Braddock (Sydney), John Peterson and Charlie Peterson; and his great grandchild Nolan Braddock. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
