Paul Ray Varnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Ray Varnes (Gainesville, Florida), who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harvey O. Varnes, Lorene Breeden and Constance Lucius (Connie). He is survived by: his spouse Jill Wilson Varnes (Tutton); and his children, Paula Varnes Fussell (Greg), Patricia Varnes (Walt Spelman) of Gainesville, James Wilson (Casey), Jennifer Wilson Carlstedt (Ed) of Tampa and Julia Rae Varnes (Ed Arp) of Gainesville. He is also survived by one granddaughter (Ella) and 11 grandsons (Brendan, Nick B., Alex, Wilson, Nick C., Chance, Justice, Austin, Palmer, Grayson, and Bryan); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
