He is survived by: his sons, Shaheed Shakir of Fayetteville, Gregory Eastman of Fayetteville and Benny Patterson of Gainesville, FL.; and his siblings, Charles Eastman of Gainesville, FL., Maryann Eastman of Gainesville, FL, Pearl Powers of Gainesville, FL, Doretha Jones of Gainesville, FL and Mary Frances Jonson of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
