He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Cowart; his daughter Brenda Cowart; his sister Christine Martin; his brother-in-law Kennith Martin; his siblings, Johnny Mobley and Donna Mobley (James Hatley); and his close friends, Eloise, Gwen, Tana, Abiola, Baba, Ted and Keydrum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Grass Lawn Cemetery (2915 NW 13th St, Gainesville, FL 32609).
