In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Raymond Palmer and Janet Wilma Lowe Palmer; and her siblings, Theda Gwen Palmer Wagner, Jackson Lowe Palmer and Robert Nelson Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Stewart Charles MacDougall; her son Stewart Charles MacDougall, II; her daughter-in-law Sharon Groninger MacDougall; and her grandson Kyle Andrew MacDougall.
In remembrance of Opal's life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Oak Hammock at the University of Florida.
