It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Elizabeth Dunnington (Gainesville, Florida), born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Watler and Joyce Watler (Arch); her husband Jesse; her brother Edison Watler (Barbara); and her son-in-law Glenn Carstensen.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Dunnington (Vonya) and Kathryn Carstensen; her grandchildren, Laura Woodford (Bill), Susan Friedman (Eric) and Brian Carstensen; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Simmonds (Will), Zachary, Jordanna, Liana Friedman, Kathryn, Carolyn and Jacalyn Woodford. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in her memory may do so to Grace at Ft. Clarke or Haven Hospice.
