She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Edgar E. Strickland and Eva Duke Strickland; her husband Alton R. Voyles, Sr. (Al); and her siblings, Thomas W. Strickland, Donald F. Strickland, William A. Strickland, Harry W. Strickland, Lex H. Strickland and Marye Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Buddy Voyles, Edgar Voyles and Debbie Bryant (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Mindy Cross (Nate) and Courtney Moore (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Will of Gainesville, FL., Sophia of Gainesville, FL. and Melody June of Gainesville, FL..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (826 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Meadows Cemetery (4100 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606).
