It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Gay of Gainesville, Florida, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey and Lillian Baker; her siblings, Paul, George, William, Bobby, Edith, Margaret, Barbara and Ann; and her daughter Sandra.
She is survived by: her husband Julian Arlan Gay; her children, Robert, Janice, Theresa, Timothy and Steven; and her grandchildren, Troy, Cecil, David, Julian, Melissa, Clayton, Aaron, Ryan and Thomas.
