With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lucas in Gainesville, Florida, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hartong and Vanetta Hartong; her husband Richard W. Lucas; and her brothers, Royal Lee Hartong and Ward Hartong (Joy Hartong).
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Lucas (Tracy), Richard Lucas and Ronald Lucas; her sister Ruth Molador; her grandchildren, Scott Lucas (Kellyann), Ryan Lucas (Patty), Nathan Floyd, Justice Floyd, Amelia Gagnong, Kailey Floyd and Andrew Gagnong; and her great grandchildren, Braylen Lucas, Zachary Lucas and Angelica Dowdy (Hawk).
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watson-Milton Funeral Home (426 W Wade St, Trenton, FL 32693). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
