It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Joseph O'Donnell Jr. in Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Afkam O'Donnell, and Bernard J. O'Donnell, Sr.; his siblings, Shadi Johnston (Ian), Laural Panico (Dominic) and Annie Halterman (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Aidan, Liam, Leila, Nicholas (Danielle), Alex and Olivia; and his cousins, Roya Panahi (Reza) and Sade Panahi.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church (20401 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River, OH 44116).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernie's memory to the scholarship funds at St. Ignatius High School or The University of Florida.
