He is survived by: his wife Diane Garner; his children, Connie Benton (Donald) of Livermore, KY, Debra Worthington (John) of Spring City, TN and Barry Garner (Debbie) of Valparaiso, IN; his siblings, Ardell Gilkey of Lowell, IN and Owen Garner of Maryville, TN; his grandchildren, Brian Benton, Todd Benton, Kelly Worthington, Johnni Cheek, Adam Garner and Megan Sowers; and his stepdaughter Shari Pentheny of Fruitland Park, FL.. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
