He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde and Elizabeth; and his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Sheryl D. Root (Tom), Bobby Jennings (Annie) and Beth Dixon (Tom); his stepchildren, Kelly, Jeff, Brian, Kristen and Dennis; and his siblings, Cheryl Cochran (Mike), Sandra Jennings, Patricia Knight of Charleston, SC and Charles Jennings of Reno, NV. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
