He was predeceased by: his parent Bessie Lenore Brackeen Franklin. He is survived by: his parent James Sloan; his sister Karen Sexton (Warren) of Carthage; and his nieces, Michelle Garcia (Gregory) of Murfreesboro, Jo Zeferino (Efraim) of Murfreesboro, TN and Moriah Garland of Donelson.
