She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Thomas David Gates and Estelle Frances Gates (McCuan); her husband Colonel Robert Eugene Hedgcock; and her sister Estelle Louise Hislop. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Purdon (Robert Purdon), Kathryn Keeton (Karl) and Thomas Hedgcock (Kim); her grandchildren, Mariel Purdon, Kyle Purdon and Dr. Kira Purdon Hess (David); her great grandchildren, Kayden Purdon, Beckett Hess and Adley Hess; and her pets, Swifty and Sunny.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beyers Funeral Home & Crematory - Lady Lake (134 US-441, Lady Lake, FL 32159).
