It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Lynn Summers of Frostproof, Florida, born in Avon Park, Florida, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Scruggs and Carolyn Scruggs. She is survived by: her children, Amanda "Mandi" Thornton of Frostproof, Charles "Chuck" Thornton, Jr. (Kati) of Frostproof and Cliston "Boo" Thornton (Tabitha Worley) of Odessa, Texas; and her brother Dennis Scruggs of Avon Park. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
