He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Maurer; his son Ronald J. Maurer (Stacy) of Dayton, Ohio; his stepchildren, Melissa Frater (Marty) of Arlington, Ohio and Zac Walters (Jennifer) of Finlay, Ohio; his grandson Evan Maurer; and his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Moneer, Brandon Frater, Damon Walters, Austin Walters and Aiden Walters.
