He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Riley and Sarah Riley (Chance); his former wife Gladys Ann Riley; his wife Leah Riley; and his son Richard Andrew Riley, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Sara Morey of Frostproof and Eugene Riley of Sebring; and his grandchildren, Traelyn, Amanda and Chance. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
