He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Atkins; his sons, Arthur Atkins of Frostproof and James Lee Atkins (Sonia) of Dundee; and his grandchildren, Victoria of Megan, JJ and Craig. He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.
