He is survived by: his brother Jim; his father Hugh; his wife Sarah Jane Griffin Alexander of Frostproof, Florida; his children, John David Alexander (Cindy) of Lake Wales, Florida, Laura Grace Alexander of Winter Park, Florida and Nancy Alexander Caswell (Lee) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Britton Alexander, Keaton Alexander of Tampa, Florida, R. E. Lee Caswell, Jr. of Atlanta, Grace Alexander Caswell of Atlanta and Sarah Mann Caswell of Atlanta; and his brother James Hugh Alexander (Nancy) of Palm Coast.
