He is survived by: his wife Pauline Marie Merrell; his children, Janine Mason of New York, David Merrell of Frostproof and Daniel Clarence Merrell of New York; and his brother Arliss Merrell of Naples. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
