He was predeceased by: his parents, Liberato Costa Diaz and Maria (Carmen Hernández Arencibia); and his son Julio A. Costa. He is survived by: his wife Paula Costa of Frostproof; his children, Beatriz Ramos and Jose Costa (Loyda) of Frostproof; his brothers, Juan I. Costa of Florida, Pilar R. Costa of Florida, Pedro L. Costa of Florida and Everardo Costa of Florida; his grandchildren, Alicea, Julio, Alexander, Ramon, Paula, Raquel and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Joseph.
