He is survived by: his children, Kathy Compton (Mark) of Arizona, Joan Wilcox of Frostproof and Robert Wilcox (Kimberly) of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania; and his sister Hattie Wilson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
