She was predeceased by: her sons, Keith McCarter and Alan McCoy; her grandson Steve Wade McCarter; and her parents, Claude Sheridan and Mary Sheridan.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Chatlos of Frostproof and Steve McCarter (Nancy) of Babson Park; and her sister-in-law Delilah Sheridan of Alabama. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
