It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvis E. Ellis of Frostproof, Florida, born in Boaz, Alabama, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Ellis; his wife Wanda Jane Ellis; and his siblings, Margie Cushen, Vera Gerrard, Jewell Campbell, Cecil Ellis, J. P. Ellis, Calvin Ellis, Jody Ellis, Robert Ellis, Glenn Ray Ellis, Donald Ellis and Elton Ellis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Jean "Donnie" Allen of Frostproof, Elaine Thornton (Oran) of Frostproof and Dana Yates (Scott) of Winter Haven; and his brother Davis Ellis of Frostproof. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
