She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Jones and Ruth Jones; her former husband Eugene Paul Hjort, Sr.; and her husband Robert N. Houston. She is survived by: her children, Karene Barker (Warren) and Eugene Paul Hjort, Jr. (Neva). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the High Point Church (4025 N Scenic Hwy, Lake Wales, FL 33853).
