It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Garodnick of Freeport, Florida, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Garodnick and Mary Layton Garodnick; and his wife Gladys Burnham Garodnick. He is survived by: his children, Mary A. Skelly (Stan), Mickey Garodnick, Willie Garodnick, Shirley Farrington and Ruth Van Giesen (Michael) of Caryville, Florida; his brother Bill Garodnick of Texas; and his grandchildren, Paul Carpenter and Julie Farrington. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
