With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Evelyn Etheridge (Freeport, Florida), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Evelyn left this world on April 5, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Garrett and Kate McLendon Garrett; and her siblings, Leon, Alton, Joyce Mitchell and Johnnie Meryl Timmons.

She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Turner of Tallahassee, Rhonda Joan Jordan (David) of DeFuniak Springs, Tamara Fay Ard (Royce) of Atlanta and Ben Wilson of Shallot. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or donations to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals: 242 W 30th Street, New York, NY 1001.
