She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Chaffin and Marvin Chaffin; and her siblings, Bryan Chaffin, Willie Chaffin, Shorty Chaffin, Harold Chaffin, Cecil Chaffin, Jan Chaffin and Marilyn Ann Russell.
She is survived by: her husband James "Tip" Griffith of Freeport, Florida; her children, James H. Griffith, Jr and Jan G. Hannon (Steve); her sister Linda Singer of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Tim Hannon (Sarah), Jaime Tipton (Eric), James Brian Griffith, Katie Griffith, Jerrod Griffith, Kara Griffith and Malcolm Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Hannah, Chloe, Collin, Bethany and Brendon.
