He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Dalen and Ingrid Dalen. He is survived by: his wife Tennia; his daughter Joni Helene Dalen; his brother Ivar Dalen (Anne Magrete); and his children, John Dalen (Ingvild), Janet Love (Buddy), Joyce Lyman (Frank), Judy Dalen and Jenice Dalen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
