It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph G. Decandia of Freeport, Florida, born in Hoboken, New Jersey, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony DeCandia and Elizabeth DeCandia; his wife Margie DeCandia; his son Anthony DeCandia (Vicki); his brother Arthur DeCandia (Josephine); and his sister-in-law Victoria.
He is survived by: his son Scott DeCandia (Denise); his sisters, Beatrice Piercy (Ray), Phyllis Tedesco (late William) and Anna Marie Cohen; his brother-in-law Frank Averso; his grandchildren, Cari, Denise of Nicholas, A. J., Jackie and Aaron; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Ava Marie, Cortland and Kensington. He is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews.
