He is survived by: his wife Debra Ward of Freeport, Florida; his children, John Thomas Ward (Amy) of Freeport, Florida, Starla Donaldson (Jeff) and Brandy Leogrande of Florala, Ala; and his siblings, Charles J. Ward (Carol) of Arkansas and Hazel Evans of Freeport, Florida. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
