He is survived by: his wife Linda Marcella Spiers of Freeport, Florida; his son Jamie Cole Spiers of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his stepson Barry Hawthorne (Tammy) of Mississippi; his daughter Kimberly Dawn Cook (Clint) of Monroe, Georgia; and his siblings, Jesse Spiers (Lydia), Mark Spiers of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Sue Rushing (Kirby) of DeFuniak Springs, Floy Strain (Mike) of Mississippi and Cindy Owen of Mississippi. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
