It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hilburn Griffith Sr. of Freeport, Florida, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Malcolm Griffith and Mary Alice Ray Griffith; his wife Louise "Chick" Griffith; and his brothers, Howard and Royce "Poochie" Griffith.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elsie Nobles, Eunice Conwill, Bertha Adams and Hilda McCall; his children, James H. Griffith, Jr. (Carla), Jerry A. Griffith (Joy) and Jan G. Hannon (Steve); his grandchildren, Tim Hannon (Sarah), Jaime Tipton (Eric), James Brian Griffith, Kati Griffith, Jerrod Griffith, Kara Chilcutt (Ryan) and Malcolm Griffith; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Chloe, Collin, Bethany and Brendon; and his brothers, Roland Griffith (Quida) of Tulsa and John Griffith (Ina) of Gaskin, Florida..
