He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Wright and Piercie Mikel Wright; his sister Nell Culp; his son Clayton Wright; his grandson Carl Vos; and his nephew Greg Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Wright; his children, Angel Vos (Steve), George Wright (Rhonda), Timothy Wright (Kim) and Tammie Wright Herren; his stepchildren, Dobbin Bates (Jeramie) and Melanie Cornman (Tony); and his grandchildren, Christina, Jocelyn, Kasey, Brandon Julia, Cristopher, Ashley, Garrett, John, Elijah, Amanda, Dillon and Jonathan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
