It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guylene Player Mixson of Freeport, Florida, born in Lobeco, South Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Player and Addie Gertrude Havird Player; her husband Pastor Curtis Mixson; her brothers, G. A. Player and John Carroll Player; and her nephews, David and Daniel Mixson.
She is survived by: her children, Guy Brister (Gale), Aaron Mixson (Kathy), Sammy Mixson (Carol) and Carolyn Cassady (Rex). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bible Baptist Church at 15139 Madison Street, Freeport, Florida 32439.
