She is survived by: her husband Tom Cooey; her daughters, Penney Brooks (Roy) and Kristy Petrauski (Greg); her grandchildren, Victoria Jade Edwards and Koleman Lee Brooks; her siblings, Robby Ammons (Pam), Shirl Williams and Gail English; her stepgrandchildren, David Brooks, Wendy Carroll, Taylor Petrauski and Spencer Petrauski; and her sister-in-law Judy Cooey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
