Elizabeth Prentiss McMillan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Prentiss McMillan of Freeport, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hardy Prentiss and Nina Prentiss; her husband George McMillan; her children, George McMillan, Jr. and Diana McMillan; her siblings, Jack, Russell, DeWitt Prentiss, Jessie Hicks and Vesta Marie Brewer; and her granddaughter Olivia McMillan.
She is survived by: her children, Roger McMillan of Freeport, Elaine Johnson of Las Cruces, NM and Betty Pettis (Pete) of Freeport; and her siblings, Reba Devine of Daphne, AL and Donnie Prentiss (Fannie Kate) of Leakesville, MS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pathway Church (430 Kylea Laird Dr, Freeport, FL 32439). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
