He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Magda Mae Westh Bowman; his parents, Ethel Berenice Mullins Bowman and Edwin Aiken Bowman Sr.; and his children, Edwin Aiken Bowman III (Rowan McClellan Bowman), John Westh Bowman and Stephanie Bowman Rand (Fred Turner Rand IV). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
