He is survived by: his wife Valeria Powell Thompson; and his children, Tony Thompson (Allison), Nikki Thompson, Ashle Thompson (Brian) and Mary Alyssa Thompson. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
