She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Covington and Atlas Covington; her son Justin Mahler; and her siblings, Douglas Covington and Ann Garrett.
She is survived by: her husband Norman; her son Jake Rittman; her granddaughter Lexie Rittman; and her sisters, Lynda Zane (Jim Landureth) and Evelyn Brown (Don). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
