He is survived by: his wife Virginia Richter Kersten; his sons, Charles J. Kersten, III (Sylvia) of Magnolia, Texas, Keith T. Kersten (Lori) of Edmond, Todd M. Kersten (Moira) of Rochester Hills and Mark L. Kersten of Macomb County, Michigan; his grandchildren, Charlie Kersten, IV (Jensie), Kyle, Karter, Kayci Kersten, Hunter and Cassidy Kersten; and his nephews, Mark, Neil, Blaise, Lance Tlumac and Glenn Tlumac.
