It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Chance Anderson of Freeport, Florida, born in Albertville, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phipps and Bernice Phipps; her sisters, Vivian Johnson and Bernice "Bonnie" Shaffer; her former husband Robert Thomas Anderson; her son-in-law Larry Ronald Davis; and her grandchildren, Jesseca Miller Williams and Anthony Wayne "Little Tony" Mandel Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Ray Chance and James Calvin Chance; her grandchildren, Sandra Davis, Ray Chance (Sherri) and Susan Mandel (Tony); and her daughter Sandra.
