He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Alphonso Mott Jr. and Katie Louise Mott (Ennis); his wife Sara Marie Mott; his son Roy Alphonso Mott IV "Bubba"; his brother Charles Glynn Mott; his grandson Anthony E. C. Hinds; and his brother-in-law Bill M. Burt (Jack Redd).
He is survived by: his daughters, Audrey E. Johns (Mott) of Chipley, Rebecca A. Winn (John) of Lafayette and Rachel Lynn Reid Sebren of Selma, Alabama; his brother Robert L. Mott; his close friend Annette of Selma, AL; his sisters, Vicki J. Burt of Plainfield, IL and Nancy E. Redd of Hoover, AL; his sister-in-law Ruth Ann Mott; his grandchildren, Katie Crutchfield, Gabrielle Black, Brittany Trahan, Stephanie Hollier, Cloe Mott, Riley Mott, Trent Sebren, Colby Sebren and Regan Sebren; and his great grandchildren, MaKayla Roche, Jaxton Crutchfield, Axl Crutchfield, Huxley Hogue, Miya Clouse, Hunter Clouse, Jay Caffery, Lucas Hollier and Linkin Hollier.
