He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Yawn and Louise Yawn (Harvell); his son Fredrick Daniels; and his siblings, Jimmy Yawn and Elsie Stephens.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Smith; his stepchildren, Wanda Doolan of South Florida, Raymond Mayo, Kenneth Mayo, Larry Mayo and Ricky Yawn; and his sisters, Sheryl Miller, Helen McCullum, Ann Worley and Charlotte Yawn. He is also survived by grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
