He was predeceased by: his wife Kim Dutton McKay; his grandparents, Lurie, Louise McKay, Herbert and Opal Etheridge; and his uncles, Tom Etheridge and George Etheridge.
He is survived by: his children, Kristen Hope and Klint Thomas McKay of Southport, Florida; his parents, Sharron Etheridge and Lurie Franklin McKay, Sr.; and his siblings, Sandra McKay, Phillip McKay, Lee and Michael Phillips. He is also survived by many cousins aunts and uncles.
