He is survived by: his friend Jim Messner; his children, Theresa Boldrin (Joe) of Snohomish, WA, Dennis Phipps (Patty) of Geneva, AL, Larry Phipps of Panama City, FL, Charles Phipps (Renee) of Fountain, FL, Richard Phipps (Diane) of Haddam, CT and Steven Phipps (Christy) of Sandoval, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan (Amber), Shannon (Jessica) of Washington State, Audrey, Jake (Jenny) of Washington, Alan, Lindsey (Jay) of Birmingham, AL, Chase (Deanna) of Geneva, AL, Kyle, Corey, Rhianna, Alex of Haddam, CT, Anthony, Bailey (Blake) of Illinois, Brandon, Jace of Illinois and Nick Phipps; his great grandchildren, Dallas, Carsen, Easton, Ashton, Mathew, Maddox, Collins, Bodi, Mae, Walker, Sawyer, Emma, Graeson and Delany; his great great grandchildren, Brett, Bella, Perry of Bladen, KJ and Devina; his siblings, Jesse Phipps, Judy Phipps Heck and Sharon Phipps Elbrecht; and his sister-in-law Carol Nugent Phipps.
